Reduce Food Waste
Taking pre orders for Lunch is a great way of reducing your shoots food waste. The menu is posted at 8am and orders to be in by 10am, food wastage is minimal, its as simple as that!
Locally Sourced
When we are booked for a shoot, the first thing we do is to source the local suppliers. We ask questions as to how much of their products are local? Can they send our orders in crates, which we can unload and return straight back to them to be used on the next order? Are they using Electric Vehicles or recycled oil products?
Eco friendly table ware
All our disposable goods are supplied by the Purple Packaging Ltd company which is endorsed by no other than Sir David Attenborough himself. They are all fully recyclable or compostable.
Single use plastic never enters our kitchens.
Single use plastic never enters our kitchens.
Offer Meatless Food Options
One or two days a week we can offer meat free days, but no need to worry there will be something on the menu that meat lovers would like. We would normally do this mid-week. The options would be a fish, vegetarian and vegan.
Make Our Kitchen Sustainable
Regular maintenance is high on our list, making sure all our equipment is working to its maximum as not to waste fuel.
Switch to Electric or Sustainable Fuel
We are in the process of switching to fully operated electric vehicles and using recycled oil in our generators. We fully support the Albert + scheme.
We only use biodegradable cleaning products. Richard Conisbee has taken the NCASS sustainable catering course and passed with 100% score.
